Flux – How to Level Up Your Marketing with AI-Generated Photos

If you haven’t heard of Flux yet — no worries, you’re not alone. It’s a pretty new concept, but with huge potential, especially when it comes to marketing. In this article, I’ll explain what Flux is, how it works, and how you can use it to create photos that literally sell. No joke.

You don’t need to be a developer to make it work — but if you are, great.

So, what even is Flux?

Flux is an AI model that generates ultra-realistic photos... with you as the main character. Yep, you read that right.

This isn’t just another Photoshop filter. Flux analyzes a set of your photos (like selfies from different angles), learns your face and body — and then lets you generate new images of yourself in any situation.

Want a picture of yourself riding a camel through the Sahara, holding a burrito, wearing sunglasses? Go ahead. A simple prompt does the job.

How does it work?

To start, you’ll need somewhere between 10 to 50 photos of yourself. The more variety, the better — but no need to upload every party pic since 2017. Think quality and diversity.

These photos are used to train the model, meaning the AI learns what you look like. Once that’s done, it can generate new photos that are... well, freakishly realistic.

When the model’s ready, you can write prompts like:

“30-year-old man sitting in a cozy café, laptop in front, latte in hand, soft natural light, urban vibe.”

And boom — you’ve got a photo that looks like it came from a professional shoot. No studio, no photographer, no $5,000 budget.

But what if I can’t code?

No worries — this isn’t rocket science. Platforms like Replicate or Hugging Face let you run and train your model without writing a single line of code.

On Replicate, you just upload your photos, click a few buttons, and wait while the model trains. Then you write your prompt, and boom — done. It’s kind of like Midjourney, but with your face.

So how much does it cost?

Good news: it’s super cheap.

If you’re using Hugging Face, you only pay for the resources you use — basically, the computing power needed for training and generating.

  • Training the model: around $3
  • Generating one image: just a few cents

For the price of one average lunch, you can have a full set of marketing-ready photos that look like they came out of a creative agency.

Why would I even need this?

Great question. Here are just a few real-world use cases:

  • 📸 Profile photos for LinkedIn, resumes, or portfolios that actually stand out
  • 🛍️ Ad campaigns featuring your face in all kinds of contexts — without a single shoot
  • 📱 Social media content that looks lifestyle-perfect, even if you never left your room
  • 🧑‍💼 Personal branding that hits different
